Tourmaline comes in many colors, the most common being black. It also comes in pink to red, blues, yellows, browns, greens, oranges and then a combination of two or more of these colors. This is what we called them as rainbow tourmaline.
The name tourmaline comes from the Singhalese words 'tura mali'. This means something like 'stone with mixed colours'.
